From San Marcos Record: Hanging on against Carla's blast were these two men who tried to anchor these sheets of metal that had only moments before been a shed at a service station on the square. Although pieces of the sharp metal flew several hundred feet downwind, luckily there were no injuries to person's or passing automobiles.
