Photograph of a man holding a large cockscomb. From San Marcos Record: Big bunch of beauty might be the best way to describe this giant cockscomb grown by Marvin Weimer of 1202 N. Austin. Weimer's lost most of his beautiful maroon plants to Hurricane Carla, but this giant measuring 18 inches across at its widest diameter weather the storm.
