From San Marcos Record: Just checking to see if these toys are in working order are Boy Scouts of Troop 1118 sponsored by the Methodist Church. The boys, under the leadership of Scoutmaster Elvin Anderson and several other dads, are collecting toys and repairing them for less fortunate local children this Christmas season. Anyone having toys to be given away and fixed should contact Anderson or some of the boys in the troop.

Making the presentation for the biggest increase in membership and the top health and safety Record was scout Bruce Covill of Austin, while Fleetwood Richards, incoming district commissioner looks on.
