From San Marcos Record: Among the scouting units honored was the Dripping Springs troop led by Homer Clearly. Here Cearley receives a special award from scout Tom Norris at the twin valley banquet. Other area leaders receiving awards for their troops were Bill Cox of Blanco and Tom Buckner of San Marcos.
