Schockner, each relinquished their positions in Red Cross volunteer work last Thursday evening at a dinner at Carson's. Mrs. Christman turned her chairmanship of the Red Cross Aides over to Mrs. Noble Field and Mrs. Schockner turned her vice-chairmanship of the Red Cross volunteer work over to Dr. Jean Smith. Left to right the ladies are: Mrs. Frank Villanueva, Mrs. Sam Beecroft, Mrs. W.K. Davis, Mrs. Noble Field, Mrs. O.Y. Goswick, Mrs. L. F. Schockner, Mrs. Susie Sherman, Dr. Jean Smith, Mrs. Catarino Villapando, and Mrs. Carl Thompson. The capping ceremony took place at Carson's where a "dutch treat" dinner was held.
