Description
From San Marcos Record: Lawyers from abroad stand entranced during an Aquarena show last Saturday. The men were among 27 men and women graduate lawyers studying in the Academy of American Law and in the Law Institute of the Americas both located at Southern Methodist University. The group was on a tour of Texas to see the country and visit with leading attorneys and judges.

Description
From San Marcos Record: The brass rail had its customers Wednesday as the Rotary Club members dined at Aquarena Restaurant and were guests of Paul Rogers and Don Russell for a tour of the attractions. Here is a scene showing activity at the bar in the frontier saloon (soft drinks here only of course) as club president Leroy Young tilts the jug. Bill Franz, Baptist Deacon, is at left. Bill Houck holds his glass for a snort while Chuck Jones, pastor of First Christian Church apparently tries to hide at far right.

Description
From San Marcos Record: These were the palm trees originally planted at the post office when opened in 1910. When the post office was demolished to make room for San Marcos Bank and Trust, the palm trees were moved to Aquarena and placed by the pool. Paul Rogers was instrumental in saving the forty-five-year-old trees.
