They held their first meeting Tuesday at James Bowie School where they received their World Association pins and membership star. They are Carolyn Swinny, Cathy Berry, Cathy Miller, Sarah Nixon, Moyra McLaurin, Sharon Brown, Shirley Weismann, Debbie Parsons, Mary Evelyn Colgin and Linda Scott. Sandy Nixon is the mascot.

"Contact any of these Jaycees and they will come to your house to fill out the form", chairman Smith said. With the deadline little more than a month away, almost 650 poll taxes have been purchased in Hays County.
