They are (left to right) Willyne Beken, Margie Kirkpatrick, and Ann Shelton, members of Delta Sigma Delta Sorority at Southwest Texas State College which will distribute the goodies to local needy families. Their sponsor is Miss Mary Louise Hightower.

Click replaces Bill Franz who has moved up to a larger store in San Antonio. The rest of the Click family, including his wife, Mary, and three children plan to move to San Marcos sometime after Thanksgiving, Mr. Click said.

KLRN-TV Groundbreaking (Image 1961-162_001)

From San Marcos Record: Providing music last Friday for the groundbreaking ceremonies for the KLRN TV, channel 9 was the San Marcos Baptist Academy. Band under the direction of Kenneth Garrett. The Academy, along with numerous other schools in the area will be cooperating with the new educational television station.
