From San Marcos Record: A broken bottle of gasoline last Saturday caused three people to receive burns and a family left without their belongings at the Chapultepec Apartments. In the Hays County Memorial Hospital are Julia Cerda and Manuel Hurtado. Victor Cerda was injured also, but not taken to the hospital. Damage estimates to the apartment was $1000. From San Marcos Record: The flames from a butane truck in Prairie Lea could have caused an explosion that might have ruined part of the community, according to firemen at the scene.
