Aquarena Springs Motor Hotel (Image 1960-002_001)

From San Marcos Record: Proposed new hotel costing in excess of 1,000,000 is well along in the planning stages for its location at the head of the San Marcos River, according to Paul J. Rogers who will build it, he hopes within the next year. It will utilize the present hotel structure, but will expand across the headwaters of the river to include approximately 100 guest rooms and cabanas. The above is an architect's sketch of the proposed building. From the September 22, 1960, issue.
