Peggy has taught many of her co-workers to use sign language for communication and the whole staff hates to see her return to school in Austin in the Fall.

From San Marcos Record: And they are off, at least for the first day, as close to 3000 students came and went during the opening of public school in San Marcos, Tuesday. After a day of untangling schedules, getting books, renewing acquaintances and making new friends, the boys and girls of grades one through 12 were glad to knock off at 3:30 pm. Regular hours for classes begin Wednesday in a new year for learning.

From San Marcos Record: Just a pup, but he won't ever kill a lamb because he was caught in a trap by Adolph Schacherl, official trapper of the U. S. Dept. of Interior Predatory Animal Control. Eight wolves have been trapped by Schacherl during the past five weeks since he began his present program. This one was trapped on the Morton Ranch six miles west.

The fall season is approaching when it is difficult to keep lawns and shrubbery green and flowers blooming. This lawn is beautifully clipped and the shrubbery is tastefully planted. Along the driveway is a good stand of roses in bloom. The Creekmoore's have a regular routine for clipping, mowing and are justifiably proud of the dividends in pleasure this beautiful yard pays them. Honorable mention goes to Mr. and Mrs. M/L. Mitchell at 1031 Sycamore Street.
