The men were among 27 men and women graduate lawyers studying in the Academy of American Law and in the Law Institute of the Americas both located at Southern Methodist University. The group was on a tour of Texas to see the country and visit with leading attorneys and judges.

The buildings, all on Edward Gary Street, are planned to go under construction this summer. Maynard Rich, director of the Campus Christian Community, said that proposed plans show Edward Gary Street being widened with drive-in parking facilities to become the main entrance to the college.

Kyle shows the new cellophane overwrapped eggs packages now featured at the local HEB food store designed to preserve egg quality and freshness by controlling moisture loss and carbon dioxide. Bill Franz, manager of the local HEB store, said that this is the first big change in egg packaging in the past 30 years.
