From San Marcos Record: Fire by friction kept these youngsters occupied by the hour in Rotary Troop 116's booth at the Scout -O-Rama last week. J.T. Collin (in uniform) shows visiting boys how it's done. Both San Marcos troops participating in the show received blue ribbons for their booths.

The new service is a barbecue nook located in the rear of the building and is operated by Jack Perkins. Barbecue of all types will be cooked in a unique oven and a number of tables will be available for customers.
