Description
From San Marcos Record: Frank Pritchett looks at the armchair in which he was tied by two in his home on River Drive in Martindale. He is holding a glass similar to the one that one of the women left her fingerprints on. In the chair were remnants of the towels used to bind the retired carpenter. Pritchett was taken for a ride by the women before they tied him and stole his auto according to his testimony. From the September 8, 1960, issue.

Description
From San Marcos Record: Big bass were common Monday as fishing was resumed in the "slough" of the San Marcos River on May 1st after a three-month holiday. Dozens of good bass were taken as upwards of 100 fishermen lined the banks Monday and Tuesday. Here is Joe O'Bryant with a string he brought in early Monday.
