Winners of the "Deep Sea Diver" contest held this past summer at First Baptist Church Reading Club for children ages 4 through 15. As a child read a book, the diver moved down on the scoring chart. Winners in the beginner group were Dianne Bridges with 34 books read. Pat Ivey in the primary group took first place with 27 books read. junior group winners were Marion Chunn and Beckye Ivey who tied for first place with 33 books read. finally, Linda Paine read 31 books to take first place in the intermediate group."
