Evans Construction Co. of Austin began work Monday by having the buildings of the old Humble Service station and the residence of Mrs. M.H. Nesbitt removed by subtractors Earl Bennett, Miles E, Bennett and E.J. Payne. As the paper goes to press, the residence of Mrs. T. D. McCaughan has not been vacated." From July 2, 1959 issue.

Completing the transaction of property transference are Steve Gregg, center, representing Humble and U.O. McLaurin, local realtor. Gregg said that the new station will be comparable to the old station and will continue under the management of John O. Taylor." From July 2, 1959 issue.
