Garrett on her 90th birthday last week, by a few of her old friends and relatives. Mrs. Garrett was born in the Stringtown community a few miles from this city, and resided in San Marcos most of her lifetime. Oldest friend present was Mrs. M. A. Hoge of San Marcos, who was 95 years old last March. Pictured above is part of the group attending the party. Left to right, seated are Mrs. Alee McGehee, a daughter of Mrs. Garrett. Mrs. L. J.
