Exterior photograph of Haysco Feed and Seed store on the Square, located at 202 E. San Antonio St. in downtown San Marcos, Texas. Haysco Feed and Seed Company opened Saturday, March 19, 1938 in the Katy Building - corner of Austin and San Antonio Streets. Thomas J. Walsh owned and operated the new store. Clarence King was in charge of the sales department and provided demonstrations of product sold in the store. Purina Feed and products for chickens and livestock along with regular brands of seed and feed were in stock. A main feature of the store was an expansive chicken and turkey hatchery. 3/18/1938
