Also includes short history of the normal school in San Marcos, Texas which mentions the Coronal Institute, and describes the purpose of a normal school.

Photograph of train cars in front of machinery. From San Marcos Record: "The San Marcos Gravel Company was located 3 miles north on the Austin Highway. The San Marcos Gravel Company opened for business November 19, 1945 and could produce 300 tons of gravel an hour. The owners were C. S. Beauchamp of San Marcos and H. B. Ingram of San Antonio."
