Description
Photograph of a group of men, women and children sitting in grass. From San Marcos Record: "Seated on the lawn and standing on curbs were many hundreds of servicemen and their family, all happy over victory. Typical is this family group of T-Sgt Richard M. Cook, son Steven and Mrs. Cook, native of England, who was married to the sergeant while he was on duty there with the AAF. When the army jets him out, they will return to his Florida home."
