Description
From San Marcos Record: Air Force B-58 Hustlers flew over San Marcos last Thursday morning creating a sonic boom causing several broken windows in the downtown business district. Damage was estimated at $500. The training flights originated from Carswell AFB. San Marcos is located within a forty-mile flight corridor stretching from Amarillo to Matagorda Bay. The business owners will be reimbursed by the Air Force for the damage to their property created by the sonic boom.
