Description
From San Marcos Record: One thousand fifty people were served a smorgasbord dinner last Wednesday night by the Rotary Club. The diner was held at the high school cafeteria with more than eight hundred dollars raised for its youth development program. Pictured is the "meat detail" responsible for preparing hams, turkeys, and barbecued beef. They are left to right – an unidentified Rotarian, John Flowers, Bob Winn, (hidden - George Martindale & Robert Knispel) Frank Taylor, Bill Franz, Hedrick Arnold, and Duane Satre. Every member of the club participated and their wives baked and furnished scores of cakes and pies.
