Note
Information provided by users of original Flickr collection: A view from the Sky Ride at Aquarena Springs which opened May 21, 1963. The ride, costing 75 cents, began at the lift – off platform west of the Fountain Restaurant across the top of Aquarena theater, to a landing area above the Aquarena Springs Hotel where riders could embark for a half hour walk through the Aquarena Hanging Gardens before riding the gondola back to the starting point. A visitor also could choose a complete round – trip, without touring the gardens, and return in seven minutes. Source: 2/22/1962 & 5/23/1963
