The most unique thing about the yard is the large number of persimmon and Spanish oak trees in the front yard. Banana Trees are planted near the garage while the chimney makes a pretty background for a large pyracantha. Poinsettias were in bloom during Christmas season. Camellia bushes and a loquat tree are located near the east side of the house. In the back yard are chrysanthemums, roses, cannas, crepe myrtles, and hollyhocks. The yard covers more than one half acres, The beauty of it is hard to put into words. It can best be appreciated by seeing it.
