From San Marcos Record: Red Cross workers get an idea of the intensity of the wind, as Dr. Jean Smith shows them the flag that had ripped from its staff outside of Carson's Monday. Carson's donated its facilities to the Red Cross to help care for the scores of Gulf Coast refugees who poured into the area.
