Description
From San Marcos Record: The City Park pool opening found this new safety device in the middle of the stream with lifeguard Nathan Porter sitting in it. The lifeguard station anchored to the bottom of the river at the lower end of the shallow children's area is designed to further insure the safety of swimmers from the swift water in mid-stream. The pool is opened from 1 pm until 7 pm according to manager Jesse Howard.
