Description
From San Marcos Record: Coming and going, these 20 boy scouts and district Scout executive Frank Hilton learned how heavy a pound was last Thursday morning when they hiked down the San Marcos River about five miles to camp overnight. The boys and Hilton carried everything they needed for the camp on their backs both out and back and after the first few miles most of them discovered things they could have left at home. These scouts members of Rotary sponsored Troop 116 are one of the many organizations that benefit from the local United Way.
