From San Marcos Record: Mashed Hearse – this hearse being delivered to New Braunfels by Charles Anderson of Austin Tuesday morning was stopped in its tracks by a giant earthmover about five miles south of San Marcos on the site of work on Interstate 35. Anderson is in an Austin hospital in good condition. From March 2, 1961, issue.
